An Ophthalmologist is required to take on an established Medical Retina clinic 1-2 days per week at North West Eye Surgeons. The practice is just a short flight (approx. 1 hour) from Melbourne and has flexibility around sessions, days and times. There is a significant case-load available, with no shortage of intravitreal injections.
There is a friendly and adaptable team of Administrative and Ophthalmic Technical staff, utilising up-to-date technology, including OCT-A. A recent expansion includes a purpose-built patient procedure room for intravitreal injections.
Devonport’s local airport hosts multiple Qantas and Rex arrivals and departures per day, and is a convenient 10-minute drive away.
Ophthalmologists interested in short or medium-term locum opportunities can also be accommodated at both the Burnie or Devonport site.
