RANZCO SecurePass (Multi-Factor Authentication)

Just like the security steps you already use with your bank or personal email, RANZCO SecurePass adds a second layer of protection when logging into your myRANZCO account. This is known as multi-factor authentication (MFA) — and it’s now required for all RANZCO members.

You can set it up using either:

  • The Microsoft Authenticator app, or
  • SMS verification

How to Opt In

For a limited time, you can choose when to enable MFA through your myRANZCO account settings. After this period, MFA will become mandatory for all users.

To enable SecurePass:

  1. Log into myRANZCO
  2. Navigate to the top right-hand corner and click “Edit Profile”
  3. Under the “Basic Information” section, click “Edit” located on the top right-hand corner. (Use a desktop for the best experience.)
  4. Scroll down and select the option to “Activate RANZCO SecurePass (MFA)”
  5. Click Save
  6. A confirmation email will be sent to you with a link to the set-up instructions

The next time you log into your RANZCO account:

  1. Choose your verification method (Microsoft Authenticator or SMS)
  2. Follow the setup instructions in the confirmation email

Note: Activation may take 3-4 minutes. Once saved and logged out of the portal, wait a few minutes before logging back in to complete the SecurePass (MFA) setup.

Refer to the setup guides for step-by-step instructions.

What to Expect

Once enabled, you’ll log in using:

  • Your password and
  • A verification code from your chosen method (app or SMS)
