RANZCO SecurePass (MFA) Set-up Guides

RANZCO SecurePass adds a second step to your login process, similar to what you may already use for online banking or email. All RANZCO members are required to set this up.

Set up with Microsoft Authenticator App

Quick Setup Steps:

  1. Log in to the myRANZCO portal with your RANZCO username and password.
  2. When prompted to set up additional security, click Next.
  3. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone via the App Store or Google Play.
  4. Open the app and select Add account → Work or school account → Scan QR code.
  5. Back on your computer, click Next and scan the QR code shown on screen.
  6. Approve the notification or enter the 6-digit code from the app.
  7. Once verified, you’ll see a confirmation message. Click Done to finish setup.

Signing In Next Time

  • Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
  • Approve the sign-in request or enter the code when prompted.
  • You’ll then be logged into the myRANZCO portal.

Set up with SMS

Quick Setup Steps:

  1. Log in to the myRANZCO portal using your RANZCO username and password.
  2. When prompted to set up additional security, click Next.
  3. Select “I want to set up a different method”, then choose Phone.
  4. Enter your country code and mobile number.
  5. Choose Text or Call as your preferred method.
  6. A code will be sent to your phone. Enter it when prompted.
  7. Once verified, click Done to complete set up.

Signing In Next Time

  • When logging in, you’ll receive a text message with a code.
  • Enter the code to confirm your identity and access the portal.
