Medal (OAM) in the General Division
- Dr James Edward Elder, OAM (VIC)
For service to medicine as an ophthalmologist.
RANZCO Fellow and ANZPOS Chair Dr Caroline Catt acknowledges the achievements of Glen Gole and James Elder:
“They are both wonderful people – clever, hardworking, generous to their patients and as mentors, and beloved by their families and colleagues. Paediatric ophthalmology in Australia and ANZPOS is honoured to have these men amongst its members, and they fully deserve this recognition of their service.”
