RANZCO’s Mentoring Program
About
The RANZCO Mentoring Program is administered by the College. It aims to assist trainees in matching with a mentor who can provide valuable support throughout the training years and beyond.
Mentoring aims to build confidence and provide a source of authentic feedback and advice. Mentoring is a powerful tool for bringing latent and overlooked talent off the sidelines and into high performance. It also plays a critical role in ensuring our rural and remote trainees are connected to the College and the Fellows.
For Fellows, mentoring is a professional development activity, which attracts CPD hours. It can strengthen the critical management, soft skills and leadership experience.
How the Program Works
RANZCO’s staff work with Mentor Coordinators across all training networks to facilitate mentoring matches between new trainees and Fellows.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, or are a trainee without a mentor, reach out to the College via drussino@ranzco.edu.
