Special Interest Groups

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists’ special interest groups (SIGs) provide advice to the College on matters relating to the topic of special interest. The special interests are mostly related to areas or condition of the eye and the SIGs consists of Fellows of the College with a particular interest in that issue.

Each SIG is led by a Chair and, in some cases, committee members, all of whom are chosen from within the SIG membership. In some circumstances non-Fellows become SIG members at the discretion of the Chair.
